So School has started…It started the 13th which was last Wednesday. I thought at first that when I got my schedule that it was going to be lame but after having all the classes for 4 days I’ve decided that most of them aren’t really too bad. I’ll give you the quick run down and the postive about them.
Physics
What can I say, I get to start the day off with Mrs. Petrus. For those of you who don’t know who she is, which would be all of you she is by far the best teacher aside from Mrs. Simmons. Starting the day off with here is a lot better then most teachers.
College Board Math
Mrs. Dalton is alright, she isn’t given the credit she deserves however this class is way to easy. So far we’ve had 2 test and I’ve aced them both. They were both over things that everyone should know. I don’t know how people get them wrong.
Weight Training
I’ve always loved weight training. This year will be fun though. Its full of all the kids who play football so I’m expecting a ton of laughs.
Forensic Science
This will be the one class I actually give 100% attention to. Mr. Brothers seems like a good teacher so far and this class contains stuff I actually want to learn about. I also got some pretty good friends in this class so its pretty cool.
Film Studies
By far this rivals College Board Math for the lamest class on my schedule. Mr. Smith is cool but just what we do in it will be lame, I can tell.
General Music
Haha this class. It would be the lamest class if it wasn’t for Aaron. We basically goof off in this class. The sophmore We sit next to is pretty cool. I’m glad we sit next to here rather then the other losers in this class. Lets hope she doesn’t leave for Choir though.
Now onto Mythbusters…At the moment I am furious with them. As you all probably know I am a very avid fan of them however this week they have done the worse thing possible. A new episode was scheduled to air at 8:00PM. I waited for it to come on and what did I get? I get a stupid Pirates rerun. According to Discovery.com they have suspended Mythbusters for the next 2 weeks until the Olympics are over. Who ever made this idea needs to go jump of a bridge.
Also, with this it is time for another Suggestion of the Week!
This week I’m going with some old music, but not too old. My pick for the week would be no other then my hometowns own grown Autopilot Off.
The current CD I have in is thier latest album Make A Sound which was released in 2004. They are a mix of Rock and Alternative. If you like things like Green Day you should love them.
Next week expect something more up to date.
So I’ve been listening to this rapper.
His name is Jun Seba. He is a Japanese hip-hop music profucer and DJ, as well as a composer and arranger who records under the name Nujabes.
Its pretty cool, the name he goes under Nujabes is an anagram of his first name (Jun) and last name (Seba) spelled backwards and combined.
His music is known for a strong jazz and soul music influence, frequently using samples from artists like Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, and Yusef Lateef.
I usually don’t listen to rap however, My friend was talking about how he didn’t like the traditional rap that is main stream but rather a underground sort of rap. I had no idea what he was talking about so he sent me a link of Feathers[Feat. Cise Starr & Akin].
I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in this.
Here is the album art of the CD Modal Soul.
I really can not get enough of these guys! Their newest album Light From Above is some good music. I would suggest anyone who is into alt rock/hard rock to give these guys a listen to.
Also I can’t leave without saying Happy Easter to everyone :] .
